Hi, I’m Jane, a freelance copywriter, marketing specialist, content writer, real estate copywriter & editor based on the Central Coast, NSW.

I do this by crafting creative content that engages your target audience and drives them to action.

Think of me as your one-stop for marketing copywriting, website copywriti ng, content writing, and business editing help. Instead of having to go to multiple people for a project, you can just come to me – saving you time, money and hassle. With my marketing know-how, I can handle your whole project from start to finish.

I’m also passionate about real estate and have a bunch of real estate copywriting and marketing services to assist busy real estate agents and agencies.

As a freelance copywriter, marketer and editor, I help small to large business owners, solo entrepreneurs, sole traders, content marketing agencies, marketing managers who need an extra pair of hands assisting their team, and more…

I’m also a mum (of one cheeky toddler and two cute pups) who loves the beach, reading books, hanging out with my family, doing short courses to upskill, and writing awesome copy.

I’m Experienced

I worked in marketing and communications roles for over 15 years in Australia and the UK before starting my own business, Breezy Words, in 2018. During that time, I marketed hundreds of products and services, grew and nurtured social communities, wrote content for websites and emails, crafted ad copy that appeared on buses nationwide and in magazines like Australian Women’s Weekly, Who, Rolling Stone, and more, and carried out numerous national marketing campaigns.

My experience includes marketing roles in the trade book publishing industry in Australia (for Allen & Unwin, Simon & Schuster, and Murdoch Books), working in academic publishing in Oxford UK (for Wiley-Blackwell), and marketing and copywriting positions working in the health charity sector (Diabetes NSW), eCommerce (Double Day Books) and for the NSW and Australian Government.

Writing has always been my passion and I pride myself on crafting content that really connects with an audience.

I’m Qualified

If bits of paper are important to you, I have a BA Communications (majoring in journalism) and a Diploma in Book Editing and Publishing.

I’m also a CELTA qualified English as a Second Language teacher. I’ve taught English to children and adults in South Korea, Sydney and London.

I like to keep my digital marketing and writing skills up-to-date and sharp. I’ve completed courses in copywriting essentials, content writing, editing, writing for the web, blog writing, and real estate copywriting through the Australian Writers’ Centre. As well as courses in LinkedIn Content Strategy and Instagram Reels with TheDigitalPicnic. Plus, lots of online learning about copywriting techniques as part of my monthly membership with Copywrite Matters.
